Couvrette deploys the first mobile ATMs

Couvrette Building Systems has deployed the first Mobile ATM kiosk. The unique design allows financial institutions to implement a full-function ATM installation anywhere it is needed. The Mobile ATM is powered using a 5500W propane generator, and requires no electricity, making it an ideal solution for disaster recovery plans, street festivals, sporting events, new bank construction, etc. The Mobile ATM can also connect to local electrical and data lines when they are available. In the event local data lines are down, the ATM can accommodate customer-supplied wireless systems for communication between the Mobile ATM and headquarters.

The design of the Mobile ATM incorporates a rugged trailer with 16" heavy duty wheels that holds a 13' x 7' x 93" kiosk. The kiosk uses a four point electronic leveling system and hydraulics to convert the unit from the transport configuration to the operational position. A retractable axle allows the kiosk to sit directly on the ground. The Mobile ATM kiosk includes and integrated 4.5' x 10' canopy with an 87.5" clearance that protects both the ATM and customers from inclement weather. A marketing area is also included, allowing the financial institution to increase branding and visibility for the installation. The 5500W propane generator and two NFPA 58 D.O.T. approved propane tanks are accessed through rear doors, and the ATM area includes room for equipment and supply storage. A 12 Volt battery back-up is also included standard. The unit accommodates an ATM, a heating and A/C unit, and a breaker panel with 110 Volt input to the exterior hookup. The overall towing weight is only 7,000 lbs, and the kiosk/canopy set up in minutes. Steel construction and insulated interior assures long life and withstands hot and cold temperatures.
