| SNC-Lavalin increases its participation in AltaLink SNC-Lavalin Group Inc., Canada's biggest engineering and construction company, has concluded a transaction to increase its participation in AltaLink from 50% to 76.92%. The transaction received regulatory approval from the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board. In its third quarter results last November, SNC-Lavalin reported that it had agreed to increase its participation in the regulated transmission provider by almost 27%. AltaLink, L.P. is Canada's only fully independent transmission provider and Alberta's largest electricity transmission provider.
