CT-S Super Tite-Lock Milling Chucks

NT USA Corporation introduced the CT-S Super Tite-Lock Milling Chucks, which incorporate dual-stage clamping for improved performance in both heavy milling and finish milling. For finish milling applications, tightening the CT-S Super Tite-Lock Milling Chuck's clamping ring until the black area on the toolholder body is no longer visible will achieve high gripping torque and minimum runout. For heavy milling applications, completely tightening the clamping ring will achieve maximum gripping torque. To improve performance over previous generation milling chucks, the CT-S Super Tite-Lock Milling Chucks incorporate a number of other advancements.

Specially designed Tslots in the bore help to prevent slippage and pullout during heavy machining. Unique deep groove slots in the bore also increase gripping force and prevent cutting tool rotation.

The CT-S Super Tite-Lock Milling Chucks are also designed to work with high-pressure coolant-through spindles. They can accommodate 1,100 PSI of coolant pressure thanks to NT's patented MC-OH and MC-C Collets. MC-OH Coolant Collets are for cutting tools with coolant holes, and MC-C Coolant Collets deliver coolant down the side of the cutting tool.

CT-S Super Tite-Lock Milling Chucks are available in CT, BT and HSK tapers in a wide variety of bore sizes and gage lengths. Standard and Coolant Collets are available from stock to accommodate any standard size cutting tool.
