| Cemex provides guidance for the second quarter of 2006 Cemex, S.A. de C.V. announced that it expects EBITDA for the quarter ending June 30, 2006 of about US$1,130 million, an increase of 14% versus the year earlier period, while operating income is expected to be about US$840 million, 12% higher than a year ago. For the second quarter, Cemex expects revenue of about US$4.6 billion, an increase of 5% versus the same period a year ago.
