| BP Solar launches optimized multi-crystalline PV modules BP Solar has introduced its new Poly 3 series modules in to the European market. At a nominal power of 170 and 175 Watt and a module efficiency of up to 14%, the new modules are the BP 3170S and BP 3175S. The modules combine BP Solar's latest generation of multi-crystalline cells, the innovative IntegraBus-system, an anti-reflection-coating, and the customer oriented junction box with cable holder. The IntegraBus is a circuit board that cools the soldered-on bypass diodes. BP Solar has optimized cells, and by introducing the IntegraBus and novel connection tabs, has increased the longevity of all contacts within the module.
