New gas flow meters from Racine

Racine vortex flow meters utilize ultrasonic technology to measure tiny vortices that form when media in the pipe move across a strut. The number of vortices shed is directly proportional to flow rate, and the resulting product is Racine's RWG and RWBG Wafer-Style Gas Flow Meters with high turndown ratio and high accuracy. This flow meter offers small struts which allows for low pressure drop, high levels of sensitivity and superior performance over a wide measuring range. Racine's RWG and RWBG vortex flow meters have no moving parts and are virtually maintenance free once installed. All meters in this series are loop-powered devices with standard HART communications for ease of field programming and system integration.

Through the use of an internal RTD and an optional external sensor pressure, the flow meter software will compensate for changes in pressure and temperature to achieve accurate mass flow measurement and gas flow standardization.
