| Fresh IKK for building services planners Around 900 exhibitors and over 28,000 visitors from all over the world are expected at IKK 2006. With an international share of 66 % exhibitors and 46 % visitors at the last event, IKK is the world's most international trade fair for the refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation industry. This year's IKK takes place from 18-20 October. One key aspect here is certainly the innovation field of control & instrumentation, which with many synergies opens up great optimization potential for existing and new plants. The search for new, more efficient processes also affects building services equipment, as this is not only a major cost factor of a building, but also offers the largest potential for saving CO2 emissions. So reason enough to rely on the most innovative and efficient systems right from the planning phase. The closely related themes enable building services planners to use the concentrated know-how of the three segments refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation. The fifth IKK Forum on the basic theme of "Innovative Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Ventilation – Systems, Components and Practical Examples" is intended mainly for planners, architects, investors, facility managers, plant operators and plant assemblers. The key themes in 2006 include heat pumps / heating / ventilation and commercial and industrial applications of refrigeration and air conditioning. The ASERCOM Symposium the day before IKK entitled "New EU Directives and Regulations – New Business Opportunities" presents current developments in fields such as F-gas, eco-labelling, energy audits of buildings, etc. The presentation of the ASERCOM Energy Efficiency Award for especially energy-saving innovations in refrigeration and air conditioning (including heat pumps) is also a highlight at this year's IKK. The IKK Get-together 2006 takes place in the large ballroom of the Maritim Hotel Nürnberg, on 19 October 2006. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Construction News :: home page |
