| Upgrade kit for inverter welding systems WeldComputer Corporation has developed an upgrade kit for existing inverter welding systems that delivers the performance enhancements of the company's premium weld controls without the necessity of replacing inverters, a significant savings in time and effort. Installation of the kit is straightforward, there is no metal or wire to cut, and it is completely reversible to the original configuration. The L-Series Control provides msec by msec programmability in open loop, current feedback, voltage feedback, and power feedback modes. Programmable air is also available as an option. The WeldComputer Adaptive Control provides all of the L-Series Control functionality plus the capability to monitor current, voltage, conductance, power, force and/or pressure, workpiece thickness, and displacement. Adaptive mode programming can compensate for variation in any or all of the monitored parameters. The WeldComputer Adaptive Control has been shown to be an effective alternative to costly and inconclusive periodic destructive weld testing.
