| Hochtief to Cooperate with Wismar University From fall 2006, the Wismar University of Technology, Business and Design is offering a Masters distance learning course in facility management in cooperation with Hochtief Facility Management GmbH. The university and the Essen-based company have just signed an agreement to this effect. The four-semester course meets national and international standards. To gain admission, students have to have graduated in another university subject and had at least one year of professional experience in this field. Instruction takes the form of distance study alongside a student's day-to-day job, with some compulsory attendance and online seminars.
