| Balfour Beatty Appoints Non-Executive Directors Balfour Beatty, the international engineering construction and services group announces the appointment of two new Non-Executive Directors with effect from 1st July 2006. Mike Donovan, who is 53, has an engineering background and was most recently Chief Operating Officer of Marconi plc from 2001 to 2005, having previously been Chief Executive Officer of Marconi Systems. Stephen Howard, also 53, and a lawyer by background was most recently Group Chief Executive of Novar plc.
