| Action-Packed Exhibition Programme of Sensor+Test 2006 The opening of Sensor+Test in Nuremberg on 30 May 2006 marked the start of a three-day exhibition programme with many highlights. 550 exhibitors present their innovations in the exhibition halls and in the latest attraction at Sensor+Test: the Action Area. Here mobile measurements take place on the move and test stands show how sensor, measuring and testing technologies work in realistic operation. The traditionally impressive conference programme at Sensor+Test has also been expanded. The habitual powerful presentation spectrum of Sensor+Test is boosted once more this year with the integration of the previously independent exhibition MeasComp. Many of the innovations presented in this segment are designed for measurement applications in and around cars and have consequently been shown in mobile operation in the Action Area which offers a totally new kind of presentation facility. Here new measuring systems for collecting, recording and analysing dynamic processes are demonstrated as they will be used in subsequent operation: on the move and in the vehicle. The presentation of the Sensor Innovation Award is undoubtedly the highlight on the first evening of the exhibition. The award organized by AMA Fachverband für Sensorik e.V. is worth 10,000 Euro and is granted by a jury of ten experts from science and industry during the opening ceremony on 30 May 2006. The Special Session on Innovative Products on the forum in the morning of 1 June 2006 plays a special part as products that have just crossed the threshold from scientific development to marketability. The combination of Sensor+Test, PCIM Europe and SMT/HYBRID/PACKAGING which was caused by the FIFA World Cup, has already effected many discussions in the run-up to the triple exhibition. AMA Service GmbH and Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH as the organizers expect a total of around 1,200 exhibitors and 35,000 trade visitors at this unique combination of three individual exhibitions in Nuremberg. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Construction News :: home page |
