| Architecture Billings Index Positive 19 Straight Months The Architecture Billings Index (ABI), a leading economic indicator of nonresidential construction activity in USA, has been positive for nineteen consecutive months and twenty-eight out of the last twenty-nine months. The American Institute of Architects (AIA) reported the April ABI rating was 54.2 (any score above 50 indicates an increase), up significantly from the 50.5 mark in March.
