Fisia Italimpianti Wins Contract for Processing Plant in Germany

Fisia Babcock Environment Gmbh has signed a contract worth approximately 130 million euro to install two new waste incineration lines at the Herten waste-to-energy plant, in Germany.

Fisia Babcock Environment is a company of Fisia Italimpianti, a wholly owned subsidiary of Impregilo. The new municipal solid waste incineration lines, each with a capacity of 17.4 t/h, will go into operation at the end of 2008, generating electric power for the city of Herten.
