| New Hammer Union Pressure Transmitter  Scientific Technologies introduces the Hammer Union Pressure Transmitter. With cCSAus certification for in intrinsically safe operation in hazardous locations, the NEMA 4X/IP44 Hammer Union is engineered for use with highly abrasive and corrosive media. It complies with new NACE standards for sour gas pressure applications and is specifically designed for use in harsh oil patch environments in applications such as mud logging, cementing, fracturing and acidizing. This extremely rugged pressure transmitter features exceptional shock and vibration resistance, while providing better than ±0.35% combined linearity, hysteresis and repeatability on pressure ranges from 0 to 5,000, up to 0 to 20,000 psi.The Hammer Union provides 4-20 mA output, and features industry standard electrical connectors for simplified installation.
