| Hitachi Power Tools launches two impact driver drills ![]() Both the WH12DAF2 and WH14DAF2 impacts produce no-load speeds of 0-2,500 rpm, 30% faster than the previous generation, and impacts per minute of 0-2,900. Equipped with two high-capacity 1.4Ah batteries each, the tools can run longer with fewer charges. A new quick charger recharges the batteries in only 30 minutes. The electronic feedback power control switch saves time and effort by providing equal torque and rpm in both forward and reverse. Durable die-cast aluminum hammer cases enclose the striker/motor combination and provide extended tool life while withstanding the high heat and stress of extreme use. Compact and lightweight, the DAF2 impacts provide effortless maneuverability. Weighing just 3½ lbs and 3.8 lbs, they are incredibly well-balanced, ideal for working in tight spaces or compromised positions such as on a ladder or under a deck. The ¼" hex drive chuck on the DAF2 impact drivers save time. Bits can be changed quickly and easily by simply grabbing, pulling, inserting, and releasing the chuck. Bits are secure and won't slip or fall out. Located at the base of the handle is a bit holder to store a spare. The 5-position adjustable belt hook can attach to a work belt for convenience while the integrated LED work light can illuminate dark workspaces such as inside a cabinet. The belt hook/LED job light can be installed on the right or left side to accommodate different user preferences. Hitachi's DAF2 impact series comes complete with two high-capacity batteries, charger and a carrying case. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Construction News :: home page |
