Acciona Real Estate to Build over 2,000 Homes in Warsaw

Acciona Real Estate has just acquired 180,000 square metres of building land in Wilanow, a chic Warsaw residential area, where it plans to develop over 2,000 homes.

The company already has four developments under way in Warsaw, comprising 1,300 homes in total. With over 3,500 homes under development, Acciona Real Estate is now the largest property developer in Poland, where it has been operating since March 2005 under the Acciona Nieruchomosci name.

The newly-acquired land is located in southern Warsaw, between the city and the airport, adjacent to the Wilanow Palace, formerly a royal residence. This development ranks among the best in Warsaw in terms of quality and potential, in an area with a very young population, where there are plans to build a full range of amenities and services, together with green areas, international schools, a new cathedral, a lake, cinemas, theatres, a shopping area and office buildings.
