MWH Soft ships new version of InfoSWMM

MWH Soft announced the worldwide availability of the V5 Generation of InfoSWMM for ArcGIS. As a full-featured urban drainage network analysis and design program, InfoSWMM delivers the high rate of return.

All operations of a typical sewer system - from analysis and design to management functions such as water quality assessment, pollution prediction, urban flooding, real-time control and record keeping - are addressed in a single, fully integrated geoengineering environment.

The program offers users more power in managing urban runoff and wet weather water quality problems in combined, sanitary and storm sewers; optimizing BMP and LID designs; and meeting SSO and CSO regulations. The model also offers highly sophisticated Real-Time Control schemes for the operational management of wastewater systems and hydraulic structures.

The new version embodies more than fifty customer-requested enhancements, plus significant innovations. Key additional modeling tools include a dual-drainage system input facilitator to accurately model street overland flows and stormwater drainage inlets; a detailed engineering reviewer to ensure data consistency with expected engineering values based on engineering standards or any user-defined set of validation rules; a comprehensive network auditor to validate proper connectivity and report missing data; and the ability to model hydrogen sulfide buildup and corrosion potential in sewer systems.

In addition, InfoSWMM 5.0 now supports modulated controls for pumps, weirs, orifices and outlets, as well as many important rainfall-runoff modeling methods like the Delmarva Unit Hydrograph, Clark Unit Hydrograph, Snyder Unit Hydrograph, Santa Barbara Hydrograph, Espey Unit Hydrograph, and San Diego Modified Rational Formula. The software's powerful new graphical and tabular reporting capabilities include the ability to display any number of profile plots before running a simulation and to generate comprehensive tabular results, statistics reports, scatter and exceedance frequency plots, and summary tables for all network components.

InfoSWMM is a solution for comprehensive enterprise-wide geospatial urban drainage and sewer systems engineering.
