| Atkins to assist Scottish Borders Council Atkins Transport Planning has been appointed by Scottish Borders Council to assist the Council in developing its Local Transport Strategy. Atkins will assist the Council in policy development, stakeholder consultation and compliance with Scottish Transport Appraisal Guidance. Atkins Environment will also be carrying out the scoping element of a Strategic Environmental Assessment which will identify the potential environmental impact of the transport strategy.
