| Insulock innovation American Insulock announced that it has produced a new Bond Beam Cutter. This new invention by Robert Jamieson is an essential part of the equipment produced in the Mesa Arizona plant. The Bond Beam Cutter is used to notch the Insulock blocks in order to pour a horizontal beam in the wall which includes steel rebar. The new device uses an air cylinder to actuate the device. This reduces the cycle time to approximately 2 seconds. The Bond Beam Cutter will be used on the construction site by workmen assembling the Insulock wall. It is a great benefit to do this operation as quickly as possible, as it will reduce labor cost substantially and further, the uniformity will not be compromised. The new device can be operated very quickly and is easy to use. The Company intends to apply for a patent for this new invention. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Construction News :: home page |
