Bovis Lend Lease to build New York Mets and Rouse Hill, Sydney

Hunt-Bovis, a joint venture of Hunt Construction Group - the premier stadia construction specialist in the US - and Bovis Lend Lease, is in exclusive negotiations to provide construction management services for the New York Mets new baseball stadium.

The New York Mets are aiming to commence construction later this year and are targeting completion in the first half of 2009. They also stated that they expect the project value to be US$550 million (approximately A$750 million).

The Hunt-Bovis joint venture, of which Hunt has 55% and Bovis Lend Lease has 45%, is currently providing pre-construction services for the stadium.

In a separate development, Bovis Lend Lease has been awarded the A$330 million design and construction contract to deliver the Rouse Hill Town Centre in Sydney for The GPT Group. Bovis Lend Lease will provide project management, design management and construction services.

Construction of the Town Centre will commence immediately and is expected to be completed in March 2008.
