| KBR to improve the environment of British Army personnel Aspire Defence, a joint venture between KBR, the engineering, construction and services subsidiary of Halliburton, and Mowlem plc, has been awarded the Ministry of Defence's £8 billion (US$13.9 billion) private finance initiative contract to upgrade and provide a range of services to the British Army's garrisons at Aldershot and around Salisbury Plain in the United Kingdom.
