| Mott MacDonald appointed for seven new PFI schools in Gateshead Mott MacDonald is part of the successful Pinnacle Schools (Gateshead) team – led by Sir Robert McAlpine and also including Waring & Netts Architects and Waterman Environmental landscape architects – appointed for the £60 million Gateshead Schools PFI project. The project includes the provision of two new secondary schools and five new primary schools on five sites. The aim of the project is to replace a number of existing schools with 21st century state-of-the-art facilities.
