| New reflective roof coatings Representatives from ERSystems announced the launch of three new products in their roof coating line. The products include ER KynaKote, a coating that adheres to Kynar500 based paints used on metal roofs, Eraguard 1000 QC, a quick cure coating that dries independent of humidity and Eraguard CleanCoat, a coating that resists dirt pickup. KynaKote adheres to existing fluoro-polymer based paints. The product exhibits excellent color retention, resistance to mildew and stains, and physical properties improve as it is exposed to sunlight. Other roof coatings typically do not adhere well to pre-existing fluoro-polymer based paints like Kynar 500. ER 1000 QC addresses the problem of curing in humidity and sets nearly three times faster than other roof coatings.
