| Multiplex Launches $350 million Cotton Beach Multiplex Living has launched the first stage of its $350 million Cotton Beach project on the New Tweed Coast in what is expected to become a signature development for the region. Cotton Beach, which only four weeks ago received State Government planning approval, would tap into pent up demand for permanent living on the New Tweed Coast, offering a range of premium quality dwellings. This weekend's release will comprise the $100 million first stage of Cotton Beach – 129 absolute beachfront apartments designed as a 5-star low–rise residential resort in a single building. The building will occupy the 1.6ha southern portion of the 7-hectare Cotton Beach site, which covers more than half a kilometre of beachfront land in the $1 billion Casuarina Beach township. Designed by award-winning Australian architect Noel Robinson - acknowledged as one of the most influential forces behind modern Australian coastal architecture – Cotton Beach takes its inspiration from Bali's Discovery Kartika Plaza resort and the luxury five-star Sheraton Mirage resort on the Gold Coast, Mr Willing said. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Construction News :: home page |
