| Architectural Ideas for ManuBuild Project The Municipal Housing and Land Authority of Madrid, calls a restricted contest of Architectural Ideas within the performances included in the Integrated Project of I+D+i ManuBuild, co-financed by the 6th Framework Programme of the European Commission. This Project launched in April 2005, will develop its works during a period of 4 years investigating in all the fields related to the promotion and construction of the open industrialized house, with participation of the final user from the beginning of the process. The aim of this contest, in which european teams from different nationalities will take part, is to obtain proposals with high quality level on flexible house typology, within the Mediterranean scope, with application of industrialized, open and sustainable constructive systems. Selected ideas that fit to the objectives of the ManuBuild Project will be included as a starting point of the dwelling building the EMVS is expected to build in Madrid, as demonstrator of investigation.
