New deep-pleated carbon filters

A new line of 'Camsorb Riga-Carb' deep-pleated carbon filters from Camfil Farr removes strong nuisance odors and diesel emissions, and can improve indoor air quality in commercial buildings while potentially reducing HVAC energy costs.

Manufactured using the company's popular 'Riga-Flo' filter frames, the carbon filters are designed to fit anywhere a regular or headered rigid filter can be installed. They effectively treat common odors that may be drawn into commercial buildings, schools, arenas and other public venues.

Camsorb Riga-Carb filters combine high initial odor removal efficiency with low pressure drop and resistance to airflow. Use of the filter for odor control can allow make-up air intake flow to be lowered, significantly reducing energy costs associated with heating and cooling of the make-up air.

Several models are available to fit different application needs. The Model 201 filter contains high-activity rapid adsorption dynamic, RAD, activated carbon and is designed to control odors from restaurants, office machines and furnishings, paint and wood finishes, unburned fuel products, hydrocarbons, dry cleaning, human occupants, and most volatile organic compounds. The Model 205 filter contains specially-treated RAD media for control of odors from automobile and truck emissions, combusted fuel products and formaldehyde.
