| New NaviTrack II line locator The newest line locator available from Ridge Tool Company, the NaviTrack II, replaces the original NaviTrack locator and offers several improvements. The NaviTrack II features superior accuracy, making it even faster and easier for locating pipe inspection cameras, remote transmitters, underground pipes, cables and utility lines. Regardless of how the unit is held or what direction the user approaches the target, the NaviTrack II locator guides even the most inexperienced operators to the exact location of the target. The LCD mapping display of the NaviTrack II locator has been improved by making it larger, higher definition and easier to read and understand. All the information a user needs is on one screen. An audible signal strength indicator provides additional feedback. With the NaviTrack II, users can quickly and accurately pinpoint the precise location and depth of a transmitter in buried pipes and drains. It also locates underground cast-iron pipes, water lines, electrical lines, telephone lines and other metallic cables when they are energized. An ergonomically designed, balanced handle enables easy and accurate one-handed operation of the NaviTrack II's keypad. The NaviTrack II locator is designed to be 15% lighter than the original NaviTrack; it is more compact, and it folds to fit in a molded carrying case that comes standard with the unit for superior portability and storage. An instructional DVD also comes standard with the unit and offers a demonstration of the NaviTrack II and locating techniques. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Construction News :: home page |
