HDR ranked No. 1 in healthcare design

For the third year in a row, HDR, a leading architectural, engineering and consulting firm, has been ranked as the top architectural firm in healthcare design by Modern Healthcare magazine.

This is the 11th time HDR has been ranked No. 1 since Modern Healthcare started its Annual Design and Construction Survey of Architects in 1978. HDR has been ranked among the top four every year, a record no other architecture firm can match.

HDR reported $122 million in firm fees for healthcare in 2005, surpassing its nearest competitor by more than $27 million. These fees come from work in design and construction completed in calendar year 2005. The firm designed more than 8.2 million square feet of healthcare space with $1.7 billion in completed construction projects. The results of the magazine's 2006 survey are published in the March 13 issue.
