| New hydraulic crimping tool FCI-Burndy Products introduces its new Y81KFT 4-Point dieless Hypress hand-operated hydraulic crimping tool. The Y81KFT incorporates a latchless flip-top style head that provides easy tool removal from continuous conductor runs, while eliminating the need to purchase and maintain dies. The Y81KFT is ideally suited for use on copper, aluminum, compressed, compact, stranded, solid and flex conductors. Delivering 6 tons of crimping force, yet weighing just 12 pounds, the ergonomically sound Y81KFT delivers incredibly easy termination and splicing. Also, the Y81KFT's head rotates 360° relative to the handles and is mated to a patented rapid advance pump.
