| Cemex provides guidance for the first quarter of 2006 Cemex, S.A. de C.V. expects EBITDA for the quarter ending March 31, 2006 to be about US$800 million, an increase of about 26% versus the year earlier period, while operating income is expected at about US$550 million, 25% higher than the same period a year ago. For the first quarter, Cemex expects net sales in excess of US$3.9 billion, an increase of 51% versus the same period a year ago. These results include the effect of consolidating the RMC group starting March 1, 2005.
