| Multiplex to Develop Aged Care Facility at Prince Henry Multiplex has finalised a deal with the NSW government property developer Landcom to jointly develop with St Lukes Hospital Complex a $148 million, three tier aged care facility in eastern Sydney. The project, part of Landcom’s master planned redevelopment of the former Prince Henry Hospital site at Little Bay, will include 114 self-care apartments and a 124-bed high and low care residential care facility. Multiplex will jointly develop the facilities with St Lukes, who will remain the long term owner of the completed project. It is anticipated Multiplex will also provide construction and facilities management services. Prince Henry at Little Bay is the first major urban renewal project in Australia to integrate and incorporate total aged care services (both high and low care) within a master planned community. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Construction News :: home page |
