ERM to work on Core Paths project in Edinburgh

The City of Edinburgh Council has appointed Environmental Resources Management (ERM), in association with Natural Capital Ltd (NCL), to carry out a wide ranging programme of consultation, analysis and mapping to produce a draft Core Paths Plan for improving access throughout the city.

The Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003 requires all of Scotland's 32 local authorities to carry out Core Paths Planning by 2008. ERM and NCL will work with the City of Edinburgh Council to develop the plan, produce draft maps for public comment, and carry out extensive public consultation.
