| Mott MacDonald appointed as engineer for Sohar Aluminium Mott MacDonald has been appointed employer’s engineer for a 1000MW captive power plant being developed to provide the power requirements of Sohar Aluminium’s new smelter project in the Sultanate Of Oman. The approximately £250 million facility is set to be the biggest greenfield power generation project to be built in the Sultanate and will be located at the Sohar industrial port.
