| New Angle Cutter has more cutting capacity Makita USA is introducing a new 14" Angle Cutter with 25% more cutting capacity than its 12" predecessor. With a 5" cutting capacity, model 4114 is able to be used in many applications, such as, cutting split face block. Makita's new 14" Angle Cutter has superior versatility. The tool base can be removed for cutting closer to walls while the guide wheels on the tool guard ensure smooth traveling of the tool over the surface material. The tool base also has both front and rear cutting guides for increased accuracy. For added convenience and efficiency, the position of the tool body can be adjusted from 0º to 80º and operates independently of the cutting depth. Another element unique to the 4114 is Makita's exclusive Super Joint System that minimizes kickback by disengaging the gears from the motor if binding occurs. This new angle cutter boasts a powerful 15 AMP motor at 3,500 RPM to take on the most demanding jobs. Model 4114 has a built-in vacuum attachment port for efficient removal of dust and debris. Other user-friendly features include a rubberized wrap-around handle for increased control and reduced operator fatigue and a lock-on button for continuous operation. A rubber shield helps keep debris away from the operator and from entering the motor. The 4114 is an essential tool for builders, maintenance pros, remodelers, roofers, masons, fire & rescue teams, and pipe fitters among other professions.
