| Bilfinger Berger to provide major new river crossing near Vancouver With the successful financial close of the ‘Golden Ears Crossing’ project in British Columbia, Canada, Bilfinger Berger has added a major transportation project to its concessions portfolio. The project comprises financing, design, construction, and long-term operation of a 1, 000 meter-long bridge across the Fraser River, together with three kilometers of elevated highway and nine kilometers of associated connecting roads. The construction volume is €600 million. The concession company is wholly-owned by the Group, and represents an equity commitment of €38 million. A consortium led by the Civil Engineering division of Bilfinger Berger will be responsible for design and construction work on the project.
