Major events at MIPIM 2006

Many important personalities will be attending the 17th MIPIM, to be held from March 14 to 17 at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes.

A keynote conference will bring together two of the world’s premier mayors, Ken Livingstone, Mayor of London, and Bertrand Delanöe, Mayor of Paris.

The architect Daniel Libeskind, internationally known for his work on the Jewish Museum in Berlin and the Ground Zero Freedom Towers in New York, will attend MIPIM to unveil his latest project during a presentation reception on March 16th at the Copenhagen, Denmark stand.

Also on the agenda is the inauguration of MIPIM on March 14 by Christian Estrosi, Ministre Délégué à l'Aménagement du Territoire, Président du Conseil Général des Alpes Maritimes.

For the first time at MIPIM, the Press Club will arrange two Round Tables featuring two major Property Talks 2006 speakers - Zaha Hadid, the first woman to win the prestigious Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2004, and the futurologist and consultant Paul A. Laudicina.
