| Dragados Industrial to enlarge a petrochemical plant in Kuwait Dragados Industrial, a company belonging to the Industrial Services Division of ACS Group, has signed a contract worth $150 million for the enlargement of the petrochemical plant of the company Equate Petrochemical Co KSCC in Al-Shuaiba, a town in Kuwait located approximately 30 kilometres from Kuwait City. The works that will be executed by Dragados Industrial over the next 23 months will allow these facilities to increase their capacity to produce high-density polyethylene by 223, 000 tons a year. Equate Petrochemical CO KSCC is a joint venture between the American company Dow Chemical and Petrochemical Industries CO, a company from Kuwait, with a plant in Al-Shuaiba that currently has a production capacity of 600, 000 tons a year that they want to increase by over 35%.
