| Skil enhances belt sander Skil has introduced the new 7500 belt sander with additional power, added features and longer lasting run time. The 3″x18″ belt sander has a powerful 6.0 amp motor, to help do-it-yourselfer's sand their projects fast. The sander features the exclusive Skil Auto Track Control that ensures the belt will stay centered during use, which means the user will not waste time or damage their work fiddling with adjusting mechanisms. The 7500 is equipped with a Micro Filter Dust Canister, which collects dust and fine particulate to maintain a clean work area. This 7500 is capable of sanding flush against vertical surfaces so the user no longer needs to finish corners with a hand sanding pad. The tool comes equipped with a vacuum adapter to allow for dust-free sanding and has a lock-on button for less fatigue and more comfort during extended use. The new Skil belt sander easily sands such large surfaces as decks, hardwood floors and countertops. Its rapid removal rate makes it ideal for large projects that require a bit of elbow grease. Users will also find it helpful for leveling table legs and ensuring flush edges when joining boards. The 7500 Skil Belt Sander can also be inverted into the Skil X-Shop, which allows for shaping and rounding wood. Included with the sander is one 80 grit sanding belt.
