| Hochtief to build the largest offshore windfarms in Europe Hochtief Construction AG and its Danish partner, E. Pihl & Son, have been awarded the contract to build one of the largest offshore windfarms in Europe, with 48 plants and a nominal output totaling 110 megawatt. The "Lillgrund" project off the cost of Malmö has a volume of EUR 33 million. The client is the Swedish energy company Vattenfall. A working group commissioned by the EU commission has estimated the total European offshore wind power potential as amounting to around 140, 000 megawatt by 2030.
