| Leighton awarded $330 mln contract by BHP Mitsui Leighton Contractors’ Mining Division has been awarded a 5-year $330 million contract to develop the new Poitrel coal project in central Queensland owned by BHP Mitsui Coal Pty Ltd. Work will commence at the greenfield, open-cut mine in June quarter 2006. Poitrel is 35 kilometres south east of Moranbah in central Queensland.
