| Spence announces Kombat series control valves Spence Engineering Company, Inc. announces K3 and K7 3-way, pneumatic and electronically actuated control valves for commercial, HVAC and light industrial applications. The K3 pneumatic control valve accepts a 3-15 air signal and features a 36 square inch or 60 square inch actuator with a spring-loaded packing assembly to minimize deadband. The K7 electric control valve features a rapid stroke electric actuator that accepts 0-10 VDC, 4-20mA or 0-135 Ohm signals. Both Kombat 3-way control valves have bronze ANSI 250 globe bodies with glavanized union ends and all stainless steel trim. Kombat Series control valves are available in sizes ½" through 4" for applications including: food, pulp and paper, chemical, pulp and paper process control systems, HVAC systems, feed water and fuel system controls in boiler rooms and packaged system such as heat exchangers, water purification systems and vaporizers, metal cleaning and plating.
