| Kyocera Solar raises wattage of solar modules Kyocera has announced an enhancement to its line of solar photovoltaic modules. By adopting three-bus electrode circuitry in combination with its 'd.Blue' solar cell technology, Kyocera has increased the power output of its solar modules by as much as seven percent without affecting the physical size of the modules. As a result, Kyocera’s module designations are now KC40T, KC50T, KC65T, KC85T, KC130, KC130GT, KC175GT and KC200GT. This gives the Kyocera module line a broad power range from 40 watts to 200 watts. The d.Blue technology is a process of texturing the surface of the solar cells to reduce reflection. This keeps more of the light energy within the cell, creating the gain in output power. The cell texturing and the new three-bus-bar electrodes combine to raise module performance to a new level. The new KC modules are ideal for use anywhere clean, reliable electricity is needed. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Construction News :: home page |
