| Domotechnica 2006 is right on track The International Trade Fair for Household Appliances domotechnica will be held in Cologne from 13th to 16th February 2006. It will celebrate its return to Cologne and the international home appliance industry will once again have a specialist trade fair with a regular schedule at a single location. 1, 000 suppliers from around 40 countries will be presenting their products at the fair. About one-third of the companies will be coming from Europe. domotechnica 2006 will offer a gross exhibition area of around 80, 000 m2. Approximately 90 per cent of the suppliers will come to Cologne from outside Germany. The product spectrum at domotechnica 2006 includes large appliances such as house heating technology; air conditioning appliances; ventilators and fans; hot water heaters; cooking, baking and grilling appliances; refrigerators and freezers; laundry equipment and dishwashers. The large appliances product segment has been extended to encompass kitchen units and appliances. In all, 319 companies will be represented here. A total of 531 companies will be exhibiting in the small appliances segment. In line with the sector's requirements, domotechnica will also include useful sections covering home automation and services.
