World of Asphalt 2006 illustrates technological advancements in roadbuilding techniques

The World of Asphalt 2006 Show and Conference will be held March 13-16, 2006 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. It is the industry-focused event targeting the business and professional-development needs of asphalt, highway and maintenance professionals.

World of Asphalt 2006 will feature a live equipment demonstration event that is themed "Best Practices with New Technology" and will feature a variety of equipment outdoors in working conditions.

The event complements the classroom sessions offered at World of Asphalt 2006. These include two leading industry educational offerings: the Asphalt Pavement Alliance's (APA) Asphalt Pavement Conference (March 13-14) and the People, Plants and Paving Training Program (March 14-16).

World of Asphalt 2006 has already set a show record for exhibit space taken, with more than 60, 000 net square feet of space reserved. Nearly 200 companies will be on hand.

New to World of Asphalt in 2006 is an exhibits pavilion showcasing testing equipment. Additional product categories include asphalt production and recycling equipment, roadbuilding machinery, maintenance equipment, soil stabilizers, safety equipment, chemical and petroleum products, pollution control products, trucks, trailers and specialty-paving products.
