| Young People At The Heart Of Building The London 2012 Game The Secretary of State for Culture Media and Sport, the Rt Hon. Tessa Jowell MP, has announced the commissioning of a feasibility study into the creation of an Exploratory for the London 2012 Games. CABE, the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment, in partnership with LOCOG, the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and the ODA, the Olympic Delivery Authority, will be working with the five London boroughs, and a wide range of other stakeholders in drawing up a feasibility study for an interactive educational resource centre dedicated to the exploration of the built environment and the development of the London 2012 Games. The study will bring together and draw on a large number of existing ideas and initiatives currently being developed, extending nationally through the Architecture Centre Network to inspire young people in their communities with the opportunities that the games present, and internationally through web-based resources. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Construction News :: home page |
