Hitachi redesigns its finish nailer

Hitachi Power Tools announced its newest addition to the 2-½” 16-gauge finish nailer market, the NT65M2. This nailer illustrates Hitachi’s new signature 'inspire' design and features an easy-to-clear nose, selective actuation, integrated air duster and a 5-year warranty. Hitachi developed the patented air duster button on the NT65M2. The button, located above the grip and easily accessible to reach, allows air from the compressor to bypass the nailing function and expel from a hole in the front of the tool allowing the user to clear away debris and dust from the work surface in preparation for the nail.

The NT65M2 provides a tool-less, easy-to-clear nose for quick and simple nail extraction should a nail jam during use. A simple flip of the selective actuation switch allows for either sequential or contact fastening, depending on the application with no additional parts or tools required.

The tool-less depth of drive dial adjusts for flush fastening into varying material for improved control and a professional finish, while the 360 degree fully adjustable exhaust portal directs air exhaust away from the user during use.

At only 3.7 lbs, the NT65M2 minimizes user fatigue, while increasing maneuverability. The included no-mar tip protects work surfaces from damage, while the elastomer grip adds comfort and a secure hold. The NT65M2 accepts 1” to 2-½”, 16-gauge fasteners.
