| Jaakko Pöyry awarded EUR 0.9 million contract in the Philippines Electrowatt-Ekono Philippines, Inc., which is part of the Jaakko Pöyry Group's Energy business group, has been awarded a three-year operation and maintenance contract by FR Cement Corporation. The contract value is EUR 0.9 million. The award is an extension of the company's previous operation and maintenance contract for the 17.5 MW fuel oil fired independent power plant. Electrowatt-Ekono Philippines has been performing the O&M for FR Cement since 2002 and has previously performed extensive rehabilitation work for the client. FR Cement Corporation is part of the Lafarge Associated Companies in the Philippines and is based in Teresa, Rizal. The Energy Business Group, operating under the brand name Electrowatt-Ekono, had net sales of EUR 146 million in 2004.
