Tetra Tech awarded $216 Million munitions clearance task order

Tetra Tech, Inc. was awarded a new $216 million task order by the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville (Huntsville Center) under its worldwide Military Munitions Response Program.

Tetra Tech will provide mobile teams to support munitions clearance in Iraq for up to 36 months. Tetra Tech recently received authorization to provide $15.2 million worth of munitions clearance services during its first two months of work under the task order.

Tetra Tech's mobile teams will be assigned by the military to remove and dispose of unexploded ordnance--including unfired bombs, artillery shells, and ammunition--that has been deployed, dumped, or stockpiled in various locations across Iraq.
