| NICTA signed for Leighton Properties office development Leighton Properties and National ICT Australia Limited (NICTA) announced that they had reached agreement for NICTA to lease approximately 40% of a new office building being developed by Leighton in the western development precinct of Civic, ACT at 7 London Circuit. NICTA will lease 6800m2 on completion in September 2007 for a period of 10 years, with the option of two further terms of 5 years each. Leighton Properties is part of the Leighton Group. The project will be developed through Makamatta Pty Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leighton Properties. National ICT Australia (NICTA) has a charter to build Australia’s pre-eminent Centre of Excellence for information and communications technology (ICT).
