CH2M Hill is one of "100 Best Companies to work for"

CH2M Hill, a global full-service engineering, construction, and operations firm, has been named one of America’s top employers by Fortune magazine.

This is the second time in the past three years that the firm has appeared on this annual list.

Fortune’s annual ranking of the "100 Best Companies to Work For" is determined through an extensive nomination and application process. Two-thirds of the score is based on how randomly selected employees respond to the Great Places to Work Trust Index, a survey measuring the quality of the workplace culture.

Globalization's pressure is turning the screws on even the best U.S. companies, making it tougher than ever for them to treat employees well. But some companies are doing it anyway.

CH2M Hill is dedicated to "outperformance" and exceeding client expectations by delivering innovative, practical and sustainable solutions on every project: from the Rocky Flats Closure, a 10-year, $7 billion project to clean up one of the nation’s largest nuclear weapons facilities, to bringing clean drinking water to Banda Aceh, Indonesia following the tsunami, and improving British Columbia’s Sea-to-Sky highway in preparation for the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Headquartered in Denver, the firm work in the areas of transportation, water, energy, environment, communications, construction, and industrial facilities. CH2M Hill has more than 15, 000 employees in 450 offices worldwide.
